Our goal at Nibwakawigamig is to empower our students with a rich cultural experience. Our language shapes the direction in which our students celebrate their Anishinaabe way of life. The language is an integral part of who we are and gives the foundation for our students to understand their world by instilling a program that builds and develops a cultural identity they can be proud of.

The focus of the language program is to shape students into language and knowledge keepers who ensure the stories and words of yesterday and today are shared for generations to come.
